The Jaguars defense came out hitting just like they did against the Steelers last Monday night. The Jags held the Colts to 63 yards rushing and only 3.2 yards per carry. The Colts only completed 45.2% of their passes for 209 net yards passing.

Byron Leftwich had a rough time throwing the football against the Colts. Leftwich completed 16 of 28 passes for 107 yards with 1 TD and 2 INT. Leftwich also carried the ball 6 times for 14 yards and a TD. Fred Taylor had 21 carries for 74 yards. Rookie RB Maurice Drew had a breakout game. Drew carried the ball 13 times for 103 yards and caught 4 passes for 32 yards and a TD. Ernest Wilford caught 3 passes for 32 yards. TE George Wrighster caught 4 passes for 25 yards.

The Jags had a great effort, but a loss is a loss.
