The Jaguars didn’t play well in this football game but it was still good enough to win.  David Garrard completed 10 of 16 passes for 118 yards with 2 TD passes and 1 interception.  Cleo Lemon was also somewhat effective completing 9 of 12 passes for 56 yards.  Fred Taylor was the leading rusher for the Jaguars with 26 yards rushing on 7 carries (3.7 ypc).  Matt Jones had a solid game catching 3 passes for 45 yards (15.0 avg).  Dennis Northcutt also had a productive game catching 3 balls for 39 yards (13.0 avg) with a TD grab.  TE Mercedes Lewis pitched in with 2 catches for 14 yards (7.0 avg) with a TD catch.  The Jaguars finished up with only 37 yards rushing on 26 carries (1.4 ypc) and they also completed 19 of 28 passes for 164 yards.

Linebackers Mike Peterson and Daryl Smith led the way on defense for the Jags in this game with 7 tackles apiece.  Safety Reggie Nelson also was all over the place with 2 tackles and 2 interceptions in this game.  The Bucs finished up with 75 yards rushing on 20 carries (3.8 ypc) and they also completed 29 of 48 passes for 247 yards.
