The Jags just couldn’t keep up with the Bucs last Saturday Night.  David Garrard did his part as he was outstanding completing 10 of 16 passes for 216 yards with 1 TD pass.  Todd Bouman did not play well enough in this game to secure his role as the #2 QB as the Jags might be on the hunt for another QB.  Bouman completed only 9 of 25 passes for 120 yards with 1 TD pass and 1 interception.  Chauncey Washington led the way on the ground for the Jags in this game with 4 carries for 32 yards (8.0 ypc).  Greg Jones pitched in with 11 yards on 4 carries (2.8 ypc) with a TD run.  WR Troy Williamson was the star of the offense for this game catching 3 passes for 147 yards (49.0 avg) with a TD.  The Jags threw the football to 14 different receivers in this football game.  The Jaguars finished up with 362 total yards on offense (61 rushing, 301 passing) in this game.

The Jaguars didn’t look to sharp on offense against the Dolphins on Monday Night.  David Garrard started at QB in this game and he completed 4 of 7 passes for 22 yards.  Todd Bouman followed Garrard in this game and he completed 10 of 18 passes for 130 yards with a interception.  Paul Smith finished up this game by completing 7 of 12 passes for 68 yards with 1 interception.  Josh Vaughan led the Jags’ in rushing in this game with 28 yards on 7 carries (4.0 ypc).  WR Troy Williamson led the way for the Jags’ in the passing game with 74 yards on 4 grabs (18.5 avg).  The Jaguars finished up with 282 yards of offense in this game (66 rushing, 216 passing) and that just won’t get it done.

Linebacker Russell Allen led a solid effort by the Jags’ defense in this game with six tackles.  The Dolphins finished with only 257 yards on offense (118 rushing, 139 passing) in this game.  The defense is looking in mid-season form already and that’s a good sign for the Jaguars.
